Fix the Courts: Stand with Hank on Court Reform

Hank To Voters: Thank you!

Hank wins 8th term: From the desk of Congressman Hank Johnson

I am incredibly humbled and honored to be re-elected to represent Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District in Congress. Not only will my seat stay blue, but this district also delivered a motherlode of votes for Joe Biden in Georgia.

Your participation in this movement made a real difference: Thank you, thank you, thank you!

And we now know that Joe Biden has been elected our next President of the United States and Kamala Harris has been elected our next Vice President.

This is a historic day. Kamala Harris will be the first Black Vice President, and first woman Vice President in our nation.

And while the count is ongoing, I am ecstatic to report that the state of Georgia looks to be a part of this momentous victory — as of this writing he is up more than 14,000 votes in GA. Much of that is due to surging voter turnout here in GA-04, where we drove up huge margins for the President-elect in Gwinnett and Dekalb counties. That’s to say, this victory is because of you.

But while we take this moment to celebrate and rest, we cannot rest for long. In January we will have two Senate races in Georgia that will likely determine the fate of the Senate Majority. President-elect Biden will be counting on us to deliver him a Senate that will work with him to protect and expand the Affordable Care Act, pass police reform, and provide badly-needed relief to families and small businesses suffering during the COVID crisis.

I pledge to do everything I can to flip Georgia blue again in January.

I know we have asked a lot of you, but you have delivered every time. That’s why I am imploring you to not lose hope, to stay engaged in the process. If you’re able, chip in a contribution to help us make sure every single vote in Georgia is counted.

In solidarity,
Hank
