$2 million grant will train EMTs at DeKalb Tech

A $2 million federal grant will help train unemployed workers to become emergency medical technicians. U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) and U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis announced Friday the grant for DeKalb Technical College’s EMT and Paramedic Technology programs.
DeKalb Tech will use the grant to train unemployed workers for positions as first responders.
